Koru Games

Over the last three days I competed in netball at Koru Games.
I really enjoyed playing against Middleton Grange because they were a very challenging team to play against. Thinking back to the beginning of the year, I have improved on playing better at all the different positions because at the start I was only playing GS.

Overall I found the Koru Games very fun but challenging because some of the teams we came across were very very good because they have been together for awhile.

Guitar with Mr M

On Tuesday I had guitar with Mr M.

I made sure I turned up on time and had everything I need. The first thing we did was tune our guitar and then we sat down at the music stand and got ready for our lesson.

The first song we played was Hallelujah as I have said many times I am getting AMAZING at this song as it is one of the songs I play like everyday. Then we played I'm A Believer. When we first started playing this song I was not that good at it, but after practicing a lot I am now very good at it.
So then Mr M said that at music on Wednesday we would have to play I'm A Believer.
So we then moaned at Mr M because we did not want to do it but after a bit of convincing we came around to the idea.

I was showing my care values by not talking when Mr M is and contributing to the song even if I don't think I can ply it.
I think the songs I need to practice are I'm A Believer and Hallelujah.
The reason why I think I need to practice I'm A Believer because I think I can play it a lot better and the reason why I think I need to practice Hallelujah is because practice, practice, practice makes perfect.

So on Wednesday we came really early to practice the song so that when we do it in front of the class  we won't muck up.

Overall Guitar went really well as I got to play Hallelujah in front of the class and we aced it.

Peer Mediation

Today I had Peer Mediation.
Today I had to do peer mediation all lunch because I was covering for Sam L who had something important to attend to.

First half of lunch 

For the first half of lunch I went with Jack W and Polly. We only had a few problems they were that someone was saying they pushed someone else over.

What they decided to do is apologize and go and play with different friends.

Another problem was that somebody's  ball went on the field and because the field was closed unfortunately they could not go and get it so they went and got another ball from the ball bin.

Overall the first half of lunch was good we had no real problems.

Second half of lunch

For the second half of lunch I went with Poppy and Jessica. We had a few problems but nothing to serious.

The first problem was that some boys were running through the bushes. What we did to fix that was politely say to them not to do that and to go and play somewhere else.

Another problem we had was that apparently a little girl was yelling at the other girl so they decided to start pushing each other.

What was good about this problem is that they both agreed that is was a silly idea to push each other so they then decided to go and play another fun game on the playground.

Overall the second half went very well because everyone was agreeing with what we said and they were being respectful.
