Reading Prove it Term 3
Walt: Apply some criteria to evaluate text.
Here is an example of a worksheet we had to do.
What we had to do was read a text and then find all the language features.
Here are some examples of the language features we found
- Technical Language
- Timeless Language
- Objective Language
- Opening General Statment
and many more.

Reading Prove It
WALT explore the authors purpose.
For me to achieve this goal I had to complete some worksheets.
In the first box you either choose if it is Persuasive, Inform or Entertain and then you explain why.
The second box is for the point of view it could either be agree, disagree or neutral and then you add why.
The third box is to identify what the intended audience is eg. People who like cars.
Then finally the last box is for an overall statment eg. Overall..........Because.........Because.
It think I am Extended Abstract because I am able to do this worksheet by myself.
