1. Text features are important because: Without some features your text could be boring and most pieces of text have lots of different features.

2. Each genre has different text features because: If they all had the same then they would all be quite similar.

3. Two genres that I studied the text features of are: Websites and Stories.

I can find, select and use a range of texts for specific learning purposes in different tasks and learning areas of the curriculum.

For my “Evaluating Leaders” research I have been researching about Irene Van Dyk and Richie McCaw.

During this unit I have had to use a range of strategies to find the information I needed on Google. This includes:

-Cross-Checking

-Referencing

-Advanced Search

I have achieved this goal because I am able to cross-check my ideas and I can effectively use the advanced search tool.

My next step is to set a new reading goal.
